About Me

Hello, my name is Michael and I have always been fascinated by archeology and the study of ancient cultures, even going back as far as my childhood. The first time I saw the famous picture of the evolution of man I knew I wanted to be an archeologist.

I’m currently doing a study on the origins of the world’s population and it is truly fascinating. But of particular interest is the Aborigines in Australia. They migrated to Australia some 45,000 years ago. They’ve occupied this territory longer than any other race on Earth, with the exception of Africans.

This information and more is why I started this blog, “Native Peoples of the World”. I want to share many interesting facts and anecdotes about the history of our species. I’ll begin with the Australian Aborigines end then branch out from there, covering the African peoples, and the history of the peoples of Asia and Europe and when they split from each other 44,000 years ago.

I hope you enjoy our trip into the past.
